Display on the steering wheel dial not working right
The screen on the dial lights up as I can see the back light turn on, the buttons work as well but it just won't show the graphics. The right dial works fine. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

You said the backlight turns on, is it a weak backlight or pretty bright just without graphics? Either way I believe it is a defective component in that case getting it replaced should fix it. Initially I thought a wire was loose but you did say the backlight is on so it is getting power. Given the year of the vehicle, you should be under warranty so the best solution would be to go to the workshop and have it replaced at no cost for you. Sorry that you have to deal with defects like these, hopefully it gets fixed in no time.

It's a strong backlight but with no graphics, seems like a graphic issue because everything else works. The car is under warranty but I am afraid to take it in because I heard of horror stories of people taking it in for 1 repair and come out with 2 more problems.

FWIW, that is my experience a lot of times, try different dealership if you end up having to deal with that. Hope your experience is better than mine.
Replacing the old faulty AMG Drive Unit with a new one does not look like a very complicated process.
So, chance of something else goes wrong is pretty slim.
