Cost to certify GLC63 w/ lease buyout?
My GLC63 lease expires at the end of August. I'm planning to buy it out and very likely sell it shortly thereafter, i.e., flip it. I recently learned that you can have it certified at that point in time, which if the price it right makes a lot of sense and I suspect will add to the value when I go to sell it.
My selling dealer, which is in CA, told me it'd be $995 to certify it. However, my local dealer, who is certainly not above taking margin on pretty much everything, is saying it'd be ~$3K. I'm still getting confirmation on that $995 number.
Has anyone gone through this and if so how much did it cost?

UPDATE: I heard today from a VERY reliable source whose name I won't disclose but should be familiar to other forum users who have finance-related questions that the base price is $1580, not including any non-warranty work that needs to happen to bring it up to CPO.
