Advice on glc63 amg catless downpipe in Illinois
Hi everyone, I live in Illinois and have to do emissions every two years. I would like more sound and of course a tune? I would like to get catless downpipes but would have trouble passing emissions. How do I get around this issue? I’ve spoken with several shops and they’ve discussed getting sport cats but the cost of a sport cat downpipe is $4500 plus you have to drop the front cradle which a shop would charge to 2000-3000 to do. It doesn’t make sense for me to pay $6500-7500 to get a little bit more sound and the shops that I spoke with were very upfront and said it isn’t worth it for the amount of sound I’ll get. Is there an option to force tune the O2 sensors to read ready or run a spacer or run O2 emulator ? What are my options besides moving from this corrupt state.
