Installing amp/subwoofer and car warranty
Hi Folks - I have 2019 GLC43 (31K miles) and recently extended the manufacturer’s warranty through 2026. I have the Burmester upgraded sound package which is great but the bass still leaves a lot to be desired. I am thinking about a local shop installing an amp and subwoofer in the car but I am worried that doing so will void the warranty. Does anyone have any experience with this and does installing this audio upgrade actually void the warranty or am i worried for no reason? Thanks for an advice and considerations around this! I am in long island, NY if it matters.

I can't see why it would, unless your warranty was on the sound system itself. 
If you're really concerned, you could unplug your amp from the fuse box before taking it in for a warranty repair. But I would just go ask Mercedes, honestly. People have been installing aftermarket car stereos for decades, so I don't think they'll care.
