Looking to Buy GLC63
Good Day!
I'm looking to pick up a loaded (MSRP $90k) '20 GLC63 w/~50k miles that's in surprisingly terrific shape. Warranty coverage has expired, so I'm mildly concerned about upkeep and maintenance in case something were to go awry.
Before purchasing, is there anything specific I should be on the lookout for with this vintage? I'm planning to do a Pre-Purchase Inspection...
Also, if I were entertaining an extended warranty, who are the recommended providers out there?
Thanks in advance!

@poops good luck to you! I would keep an eye on the bidding sites carsandbids and bringatrailer as these are few and far between and dealers in the US and overpriced if looking on the typical dealer websites. I'd recommend considering a 19' as well; the main draw for me on the 20' and beyond facelift models were the taillights but I bought them online along with some connectors and updated myself. I may update the speedo from the manual to the digital dash but I kinda like the older style.
The warranty will likely be coming to an end anyway on a 20' very soon and you can catch a great deal on an '18 or '19. Just a thought. I found one that came with an extended warranty the seller had purchased, but ended up replacing a ton of parts on my own dime anyway. Plus the dealer fixed a few things under warranty and ended up replacing something improperly. FYI, the parts really aren't as bad as you think and the car is surprisingly easy to work on as long as you can use Youtube and turn a wrench. Overall the M177 engine and trans is pretty bulletproof so not a lot of worries there.
If buying one around the 50k mark, make sure the plugs got replaced or change them yourself. Same thing with the ignition coils- they are terrible and have an extended warranty for like 10 years but the dealer won't replace them unless they fail.
