I want to hardwire a Valentine radar detector in my 2023 GLC AMG 43 coupe. Does anyone know if there is a 12V switched socket, or an empty socket in the drivers side fuse box? I have a diagram from a 2019 GLC, but things have changed for 2023. Thanks in advance for any help.
don't need to do that. If yours came with the distronic system and the cameras up on the windshield, take off the plastic cover directly above your rear view mirror. The striped red/orange wire is +12v, you can use wedge a wire plug tap (
) and run that to your radar. just get one that uses the same connector your radar needs on the other end. there are many versions. you can see the red wire hanging down that got tapped in there.
