GLC63s Rolls Build

Hello All
I've wanted to get in here for a long while, but I've spent most of the last few years since getting rid of my GLC43 building up our business. Now, the time is right to start a build. I spent the last 6 months looking for a 63s, and when I wondered if my patience would pay off, I found the perfect 19' 63s. Getting down from a dig where I live doesn't really make much sense, and I know the 63s are amazing on the streets for that, but I really have a passion for roll races and building setups that may seem like something most wouldn't do.

I can't bring myself to go crazy on my current 63s, it's just such a beautiful car to have for daily, but I do want to do some decent mods to it, and then I am searching for a salvage GLC to strip down and do this right.

What I would love to ask from everyone here is to help me expedite some things since I haven't spent most of my life into Mercedes. It's been the last five years of my life and I'm not super familiar with who would be the best companies to seek out.

For the current 63s Daily I'd like to do the following:
  • What's everyone's opinion on the best companies to go through for bolt-ons? I've been talking with Weistec and some others to get their full setup including down pipes, tune, intake manifold, intake, etc...Thinking of maybe getting it up to around 700-800 to the wheels but I may consider even leaving it less since it's my daily. Not set on using any particular company, or maybe using a few to get what is best for this setup.
  • What I'd love to do for this car, which I'll most likely be doing on both, is lighten it up as much as possible, so if anyone has recommendations on seats, carbon replacement parts, lightweight wheels, etc., please let me know. Overall, if any of you were building this setup and wanted to lighten your daily up and get the power up to maybe 150-300, what would you do? If money was not an issue, what would you do?
  • What's the best tuner for these types of setups on the 63s?
  • What are the best turbos for what I'm looking to do?
  • Downpipes? Exhaust?
  • Intake?
  • I see all the ones out there, but it would be cool if people have some experience since there doesn't seem to be a lot of data floating around on the GLC specifically.

This next setup may not make sense to a whole lot of people, but I would just imagine what it'd be like to see a small SUV compete with today's roll cars. Like I said above, I am sourcing a salvage GLC to build from the ground up with this.
  • For the powerplant, I am looking to go with a larger displacement, something like the 5.5 bi-turbo. Since this will be an entirely custom build, Im looking to see the best option to stuff in there without having to hack away the firewall. Would the 5.5 fit? Are they similar in size to the 4.0? I know some are just bore and stroke, but the actual engine is the same size, so please let me know if anyone has an answer. Is there something bigger? Is it not worth it? I plan to run this setup around 1500-1700 to the wheels on the first build and go from there
  • I am going to do this so I can reduce the 4500lb monster considerably before pushing the powerplant, so if anyone has any good suggestions, I will need to get as many lightweight options as possible.
  • Is there any reason not to use a Full MoTeC?
  • Turbo options will be a fun conversation, so I'm open to hearing suggestions.
  • Who's tuning these AMG's at the highest level these days, anyone have any recommendations?
  • Do you have any recommendations for brakes and suspensions around this setup?
  • Camshaft companies?
  • I haven't researched the flow of the heads, so maybe I will need to find someone to do a good CNC Port Job until I get into a forged motor down the road.
  • For whatever motor I go with, I'd love to know the differences between these AMGs in terms of the stock engine sleeves, deck, crank, rod, and head bolts.
  • Does anyone do any type of lightening on these cranks? Any internals, for that matter? I will be seeking to forge anything I can until I look into forging the motor.
I understand the magnitude and cost of this, and this isn't the first time I've built setups like this, but this will, of course, be a much different animal for what it will be doing. Fortunately, this car will be built for me but wrapped and marketed for our manufacturing company, so it all makes sense. I want this to be right, not cheap, with no corners cut, and something that would make anyone say it's one bad beast. I can only imagine what breaching 200mph would be like at the rolls, and I'm willing to push the bar in every way to make it happen. I appreciate any help you all can lend. I see some knowledgeable folk in here. Much love to you guys
