Installed a subwoofer with a my old JL Amp from 25 years ago. Modified the wedge box to a square box fits perfectly in trunk. It sounds better than the Burmester I heard from a loaner. Make sure to tap into front speakers unless you want your exhaust sound pumped to the subwoofer.

Nice, any rattling so far?

 

The bottom cover was rattling when I turn the volume up, I have a WeatherTech liner on top of it so that fixed it. I don't hear any rattles so far from driver seat even at almost full volume. su woofer is only 2 to 3 inches from the cover.

Focal V2 speakers fit perfectly, but the tweeters were too small for the x254, had to put tweeters inside some packing foam and squeezed in.

Definitely fuller range heard especially highs.
