2020 GLC63 transmission issue

2020 GLC63 transmission issue
Need some help.
When at lower speeds think rolling thru stop sign and then giving a heavy foot input to accelerate the transmission feels stuck in neutral.
this happened as I was going through a left turn signal behind a slow poke and went to overtake, RPM went up but again felt no power for a very noticeable amount of time. It eventually engaged but I don’t even think it kicked down.
any thoughts on this? My shop had it with a master tech for a couple days and was told they updated software but it hasn’t fixed this issue.

2003 Cobra / 2018 GLC300 / 2020 GLC63 SUV
This is definitely a feature of the AMGs, in comfort mode especially, at low speeds, the trans seems to be programmed very conservative. It doesn't do it in S or S+, at least in my car. After awhile you sort of figure out how to drive it to avoid it, like driving a stick. Just my two cents.. enjoy the car.
