2025 AMG C43: Dynamic Start Request on start?

My 2020 A220 would ask me at startup if I wanted to use my prior setting. I don't see that in the 2025 AMC C43. Any thoughts?

There should be an option for that in MBUX under the vehicle DYNAMIC SELECT settings. It has to be checked. Don't remember exactly where it is. It's off by default.

very weirdly, this car doesn’t have it. My a220 does. Is there really no way to get this setting activated?

Now that you mention it I'm wondering if this is not an option in the AMG models, because you can quickly and easily change drive modes from the steering wheel. You can even customize which modes you wanna have there and in what order, so you can hide the ones you never use and quickly get to the one you want by putting them in order of how you use them. In my AMG I can also press the drive mode selector knob to directly jump to I*. I know in the later models with hybrid systems, pressing it reveals the recouperation setting, so you can't conveniently activate I* anymore by just pressing the knob, but it's still way more efficient and quicker to change modes in an AMG than having to reach down to the center console and cycle through the modes, or even waiting for that prompt to come up and the 3 second window you have to tap it.

I typically start out in Comfort for around town and while the engine is cold, then as soon as I hit up the highway or an open road press the knob to activate I* and when I get back into slower traffic one tick to the right with the knob gets me back to Comfort and I have the exhaust and suspension mapped to the buttons on the left, so I can quickly open the exhaust in Comfort mode or adjust the suspension depending on the road. All w/o ever having to take my hands off the steering wheel.
