2020 GLC43: What am I Getting Into?

I am shopping for a used car and I've always wanted to own a Mercedes. I found a 2020 GLC 43 at a local lot and it looks to be in good shape. It has 67k miles and only one owner. It's a local car with all its service done at the dealership. I called them and they said it had been in for no major issues. It's in my price range, its in great shape and it seems to run well. I'm thinking of having a pre-purchase inspection done this week and to buy it if the shop doesn't find any issues.

Reading through the posts here and on the AMG Reddit forum, I don't see a lot of discussion by owners with cars having mileage north of 50k miles. My overall impression is that C43's are very reliable if maintained. What can I expect if I decide to pull the trigger on this one? I'm comfortable maintaining it according to the maintenance schedule, but I'm worried about getting in over my head in expensive repairs. It does not seem practical to purchase an extended warranty at this price point. Just for reference, I've owned a couple of Porsche 911's, an Acura NSX, and Audi S4 Avant in the past. I'm a family guy these days and I'm looking for a fun car for my daily 9 mile commute to work and back for the next 3-4 years, when I plan to retire.

What am I getting myself into?

You are getting into a very fine machine that begs to be driven. good idea on the PPI you mentioned.

Here is the list of things to keep an eye on eventually if you plan to own the car for a while: https://mbworld.org/forums/c450-c43-...ml#post9193754

Great little car, ours has 97,000km on it now and is going great. The only thing we have had to do is replace the rear differential oil with an updated one. It fixed the issue.
They are a fun car to drive in sports + for a bit of spirited driving. I do all the maintenance on it and give it a full check over every 10,000km.
The GLC range seems to be pretty reliable.

MB’s of all kinds.
GLC43 is a crossover. Based on a w205 C Class. It’s not very big. However, if you do not need much space this is a much better option than a large SUV. The 43 has the TTV6 engine that is reliable. My advice is get a PPI from a dealer or shop. This way you can see what the car needs. The GLC43 engine can also be tuned for more performance so that is always a plus. What does the carfax show? A V6 GLC should be fine if the car fax is good and the history is clean. It will really come down to what needs and will be done. Fluids, filters ect. FCP euro is a great place to buy parts.
