Hello everyone,

I recently bought a 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLC 250, and I’ve noticed that the panoramic roof makes a squeaking / creaking noise when driving over bumps or uneven roads.

I watched a few videos where the suggested fix was removing or partially opening the roof trim and tightening the panoramic roof assembly bolts, which seems a bit complicated.

I was wondering if there is any easier or simpler solution that has worked for you — for example lubrication, adjustment, or software calibration.=

I would really appreciate your advice or experience.

I would first try lubrication. MB makes a very expensive lubricant for the sunroof. If it's never been done, lubing should be your first step. Search YouTube for Mercedes sunroof and a few maintenance vids come up.
