I find it hard to believe that MB would build cars for a small market like Canada and not a major market like the US.
Until someone can show me a build sheet or the DOG I'm going to be a skeptic.

My build sheet, you are late to the game. Not sure when will they finish build. KJ car is ready to go anytime

They can also release the 53 as a 2021 in the US if they wait until next year.

Apparently you haven’t been following the GLE rollout fiasco. Mercedes has said repeatedly that releasing the new Gen GLE as a worldwide launch was a first and caused many of the issues. It makes perfect sense to start production on a limited basis rather than the largest market first. Germany is usually first to get new releases, I wouldn’t be surprised if they are getting the GLE53 also.

I guess the Canadians can be the Beta testers.

don’t take it offensive, but you just sound sour. Hey but I respect how you feel. Just sharing my feeling also. Beta testing/ Canadian or not. It is what it is. You can’t order a 53 or like my 450 is not build we all on the same boat. Just trying to have an accurate information flow.

The GLE rollout has been a mess as others have noted. I wouldn't waste time debating on why or who is getting what first anymore. The traditional rollout doesn't apply here. Canada is a much smaller market so I could see how one would think Canada is test ground, but the truth is the orders are probably easier to fill for a smaller market lol. Thing is though it appears the GLE is a huge demand despite the stumbles. The more I see of it, I'm convinced it's winner. It looks like a proper Mercedes SUV and the build quality is great. Now once they sort out productions and the first year bugs they'll be fine.

GLE 53 Beta?
I don't think there is too much "beta risk" here. This version of the M256 engine has been out in the AMG CLS 53 Coupe & E53 Sedan for some time. The Active Ride Control is new, AFAIK, but other than some specific programming everything else has been in production is some form for a while.
