GLC 450
UK 450

I have had the car for over a week now, here are my first impressions.

Ride with air suspension is brilliant, even on 22 inch wheels, much better than in the GLC43 with 19 inch wheels.
Very quiet inside the cabin, you have to check the engine has started.
Car feels very well put together and solid.
After GLC felt big but soon get used to it, even on UK roads.
Engine has plenty of power but miss the roar and burbles of the 43.
MBUX will take a lot of getting used to but certainly looks great.
Seats are very comfortable and memory system works well, like the fact you can adjust passenger seat from drivers side.
Boot space is very good but wish 450 was available in UK with 5 seats, with 7 seats you lose a lot of under floor storage.
Ambient lighting is very good, much better than in Land rovers where I had a struggle to see if it was on.
Voice control is a big step up on other cars I have driven, still need to find out all you can do with it.
With trailer hitch foot gesture control still works for opening boot, will be interested to know if it works in US as it doesn't on UX X5's but does on the UK ones.
Played with distronic but will take a lot to get me used to the car driving itself but worked well in limited trial.
For all you members who are having trouble with delivery, if you can stick with it as the car is certainly worth the wait.

Beautiful SUV! Greta color choices.

The foot gesture control does work, but it takes some getting used to. I’ve tried to get it consistent, but I haven’t figured out the sweet spot or maybe its the speed of the gesture.

I’ve seen it mentioned before about controlling the passenger seat from the driver’s side, but I don’t understand how to do it. Would you or anyone else care to elaborate? Thanks!

It is the button in front of the heater button that switches the seat controls from side-to-side - has an "R" on it.

That’s why I couldn’t figure it out. I don’t have that button in my car. Thanks for the info.

You probably have to have the P64 Passenger Seat Memory option.
