have the black, trim painted white. Look at pics on this site and you will see some that have the factory white trim. I had the black trim painted on my ML. Also have the chrome door handle inserts. I put them on my ML not sure if the new GLE have that option.

I would give it the AMG look or the "Panda" treatment (black and white)
Chrome delete the windows trim - Have them wrapped in black (very similar to the AMG night package).
Wrap/Paint the rockers - white.
Wheels - Those look like 19 - 20? I would powder coat or paint them glossy black - You could even plastic dip them (cheapest and easiest) black or even gun metal.
Replace - Badge in the rear with all black ones.
Get front windows tinted to match the rear windows pane.
Paint the black trim body color

no plasti dip on car. It’s good stuff but this is a luxury car. The plasti duo gloss still isn’t that great.
The lower plastics on my Volt were unpainted all around and had them painted. Looks totally diff vs stock and makes it look so much better. I did plasti sip the wheels on my Volt and they are good and has lasted but felt ok since not luxury type car and is my daily. They are rather ugly stock.

Had to post because I saw you have a subie...lol Here's my STi. Had it new since 05'. Don't think I'll ever get rid of it and keep modding it here and there just for fun. I love the new cars but there is something very raw about driving this that new stuff lacks.
AMG Exterior / Night Packages additional customizations
Our SUV has the optional AMG Line Exterior package (Gloss Black exterior accents, 20-inch AMG twin 5-spoke wheels w/black accents, AMG body styling) and the AMG Night package.
Unfortunately, they left many more to be black-desirable (MB star and side bars at the front grill, all 4 door handles, all chrome MB star and letters and the 2 exhaust openings at the rear.)

The back is screaming debadge me...lol. I did that to our w211. Looks super clean now. If you don't want to debadge you could get some one to paint them or flat out replace them with black. The rest you could have wrapped or also get it painted black

I like that guitarplayer is soliciting ides on ways to modify his GLE to make it stand out in the crowd. We (GLE owners) are getting a lot of good ideas from people's legitimate responses.
I like the look but that tint is probably illegal in most States. I had our Audi tinted but went with a lighter Ceramic film so that there is a slight difference between front and rear. The Tint shop said that there is a higher risk of getting a ticket when it’s so obvious. It would probably be rare that Police would actually write a ticket.
