300d consumption

Hi everyone, any 300d proud owner, I would be interested to know the average consumption especially European Town 😁

I've heard low 30's in town to low 40's on a motorway run.

Wouldn't expect much more to be honest. It's a big and heavy vehicle, and you know, laws of physics...

Thanks, I guess so. I am not expecting much anyway otherwise I would have bought something smaller.
Just been told it has been built, queueing to get it shipped.

You'll love it. I have a 450 petrol, and get about 28 to 32 mpg on a run and 24 to 26 mpg around town (UK gallons). You will do better 👍

Thanks, handing over the c200 next Monday, then 6 weeks in a Citroën c1... Gonna be a shock to get used to it by then.

We love our GLE. It’s had a whole bunch of stupid build related faults, a recall, and now an actual fault... but i still wouldn’t change it. You will definitely travel first class when you’re in the GLE, compared to Thomas Cook economy in the Citroen C1 🙈😂. Enjoy it when it arrives !

Actually, I'm owner of a 300d (I paid the balance) but, unfortunately, not a possessor!

According to French auto reviews, the consumption is (in l/100 km):

- Town 9.2 / Road 8.3 / Motorways 8.8

- Town 9.4 / Road 8.4 / Motorways 7.8

On average the consumption during the tests, according to the reviews, was about 8.5 l/100 km.

There is no regret to have in comparison with the X5 which, in theory, is supposed to have a lower consumption but, in reality, has a consumption of 1l/100 km higher than the GLE.
