Take my money, please!
A dealership in Louisiana said they aren't allowed to sell outside their sphere of influence. Most recently, a salesman in Florida spent several days negotiating with me, we arrived at a price he said he believed his manager would accept and then he called back to say the owner preferred to sell that particular vehicle locally and, oh by the way, he had been driving it and put 1,200 miles on it already. Like, WTF? Why were you negotiating with me? And not telling me that it's now a used vehicle?
If my wife would go for it, I'd have an X5 tomorrow. Ugh.
The good news, I suppose, is that I'm starting to see more 450s that have my key options in them in stock at dealerships. I'm still a minimum of six weeks away from the beginning of production of my order, but maybe I'll find one sooner. My patience has long since worn thin.
