Air Balance problem ?
So my car has the air balance package with the ioniser.
Firstly, I just can’t smell the fragrance at all in the vehicle even though set to 3. Secondly, the ionizer function keeps randomly turning itself off.
Sounds normal, or is this glitch #15 on my April 2019 car ?

So I wouldn't say that i've 'fixed' these problems, but I do believe I understand what's happening ....
1) The Air Balance perfume only seems to operate out of the central vents in the dashboard. When the A/C is on 'auto', most of the time very little air flows out of those central vents - a lot more seems to come out by the windscreen and the lower dash vents. Hence, you really don't notice the smell (at all) because so little air is flowing out of the appropriate vents, and hence very little perfume is released. But ... if you force the A/C to blow out of the central vents hard, you can definitely smell it working.
2) The Air Ionizer similarly only appears to work through the central vents in the dashboard. When there is very little airflow through those vents, my guess is that a static charge builds up, and the module turns itself off to protect itself from any kind of static discharge. When you force the air to flow through the central vents, it appears to stay on for extended periods without automatically shutting itself off.
Anyway ... that's what I think it going on.... not a fault it seems, but if i'm right, just a poorly thought out design that focuses on the central dashboard vents for both functions, and combined with the 'automatic' air distribution, isn't exercised enough for either function to work particularly well.
