MBUX Digital dash - full screen satnav possible?

As per title is it possible for you to have full screen map view in the drivers digital dash vs just the middle section?

I was watching A class reviews last night and noticed even in Australian spec, it was possible to view MBUX navigation full screen... refer to 10:08 on the following video:

But then on my Australian GLE, I don’t have a full screen option. There’s only two “tiles” within the Navigation view - turn instructions and then mini map.

I took some photos with the phone but they appear upside down when I try to upload them here. I’ll try to edit this when I’m back on my PC later.

Edit : tried saving as video so hopefully that’s upright.

Givent the plethora of info available in the HUD, I need to figure out what info to put into that slot because, right now, I don't need to look down to it all.

It is because you are holding your iPhone upside down, Apple have a non standard tag to "know" which way to display it.
Windows does not look at the tag and displays as it was taken, i.e. upside down!

I'm pretty sure that it's upside down for us here in the US as @JaCe88 is down under.... sorry I had to, it was too good to pass up on
But yes, you can display navi full screen on the Driver's side, you have to scroll to the 3rd option in the center and select full view

lol I knew I was asking for it.

But damn, it seems the third option isn’t visible on my GLE. I only have two.

It would seem MB are localising MBUX and disabling certain features eg the video playback (which used to work!) and we also don’t have the augmented reality GPS even as an option because it’s not permitted under our local laws apparently (a distraction to the driver apparently).

Where are you located that they don't permit augmented reality

A distraction? That's odd. Can you use the built-in camera as a dashcam?

Augmented reality is whats missing. It only allows for full screen in the dash when that is equipped. We have GLE's with out it here in the states. surprises me all the time its not standard on a GLE.

I think that answers the question then!

Still not sure how the video review I linked had the full screen navigation view in the driver's dash then since the A class also doesn't have augmented reality in Australia.
