GLE V167 recalls (in Australia)
This is the first time I've bought a totally new model car when it hadn't even launched yet (back in July 2019) and I'm shocked that there's already been four recalls (with three of them applying to all GLEs). Whilst Mercedes does offer to come pick up the car from my home and drop it off when they're done, it's still a major inconvenience. Is this level of recall normal?
I'm not sure if there are as many recalls in the US for the MY2020 GLE but for reference, here are the four in Australia:
Air conditioner leak - https://www.caradvice.com.au/785964/...-gle-recalled/
Brake assist software - https://www.caradvice.com.au/788019/...lass-recalled/
Fuel filler (only impacts 12 GLEs) - https://www.caradvice.com.au/796283/...le-recalled-2/
Exterior trim - https://www.caradvice.com.au/809773/...le-recalled-3/
Just seems... rather high.

1. is inspection of the air con darin hose to make sure it was installed properly - no kinks backing up that drain hose
2. Brake Assist - I believe that is more Aus focused - nice to know this major safety system is being maxmimized for safety
3. Fuel filler - have not seen that here in US myself
4. Minor trim issue

I agree they don’t sound so significant but generally speaking, manufacturers wouldn’t issue a public notice recall requiring you to bring the car back unless it’s major (vs waiting for annual service). Eg airbags issue.
