I have had my GLE since June and I guess this is the first time I went to use the controls on my wiper stalk in the dark and I could not see them. The shift control stalk on the other side of the steering wheel is backlighted. I had to turn on the reading lights to see what I was doing.

I don't know if it was designed this way or if I have something that needs to be looked into.

Thanks. It's nice to know I don't have a problem but it's a bummer design to have to fiddle with it in the dark.

 

Once you get used to it, it should be memorized anyway.
