I came out to my car this evening at my office and the rear tailgate was open and the car was unlocked. I am 100% positive it was locked and the tailgate was closed when I parked (I always watch mirrors fold in to be sure it locks due to occasional fob issue). I actually peeked at my car midday just to recall where it was parked and the gate was absolutely down. I could see maybe accidentally clicking the unlock button, but to open the rear hatch would be a feat. I know, call me crazy...

 

Happened to me once with windows / sunroof

 

Yikes, this is pretty unnerving. Luckily I had nothing valuable in the car. What if it had been raining while your gone and windows opened? My car has been pretty much flawless other than today's gremlin.

 

Same here, no major issues - luckily, it was parked in a garage and I saw that it was open via the website while looking for map updates. Never had it again.

 

Oh my!! How would you like to be out of town on a business trip and have this happen on day one in the airport parking garage/lot?? Owning this car is starting to get scary!!!

 

Doesn’t your Mercedes me app show you the windows are open doors are opened? Mine does.

 

Yes. But you don't get a push notification when it changes. So to know if it happens you would need to be looking at it quite frequently (awkward at best). It also is of little help if you are 500 miles away from your vehicle when you see it.
