I don't know the answer for sure, but just judging from the medical article that I quoted earlier in this thread, factory side windows don't appear to give much sun protection. If you base your thinking on that, you probably don't get much heat protection either from the factory side windows.

And it looks like those levels may be higher than aftermarket tints, although I don't know the specs for the new films.It looks like side window tint in a M-B might be more a personal preference than medically driven.

That looks great, I am planning on doing the same thing.
Does anyone have any idea what brand of tint that is? I was looking at getting ceramic by XPEL and see they only go up to 70%
I’ll probably end up going 80% or 70% for windshield too.
