Has anyone replace their Air Filter Yet on a 2020 GLE 450? Is it under the ECU box at location B? Anyone has a step by step guidance for us to learn?

Its is under B and not easy to get to. When you undo the fasteners make sure they are captured. One of mine wasn’t and it fell down on the skid plate which I later had to remove to retrieve it. Both K&N and BMC make performance filters for the m256 motors.

Thanks, do I need to remove the entire assembly supported by 50, 55 and 45 anchors in the 2nd diagram or just the ECU is good enough for the job?

I just relaxed my Air Filter with a K&N one because BMC isn’t available and to be very honest I do notice a difference.

There is a slight change in sound but noticeable power improvement. Now don’t get me wrong it’s not a 50 horsepower difference but there is a slight difference in power.

I notice the little kick it gives more than before. I hear it sucking in more air as well which attributes to the power.

Now I’m not a big fan of K&N but it’s all that is available as BMC is on back order. If I were any of you and looking to get an Air Filter and have a choice I’d recommend BMC.
