Question Question about selecting 'Preset' Radio Station using on-onboard computer

Hello Folks,

I purchased my GLE450 a few weeks ago and here I have a question (or a little annoyance I'd say) about the use of on-board computer (i.e.: the little black touch-control on the left side of steering wheel) that I just can't seem to figure it out, even after reading the user manual numerous times. *arrrgh*

Can someone please help me understand what do I have to do so that when I swipe upward or downward on the left-hand touch control , it will only circle through a list of 'Preset Stations List' ?

There are only 6 FM radio stations which I listen to normally and they have all been saved in My Favorite list at the bottom of the radio station screen.

The thing is, it seems like no matter what I do, every time after I selected 'Preset Station List' (one with an asterisk next to the station name) using the left-hand touch control, it will automatically default back to just the regular FM Station list after sometime.

When that happens, it means that it will only jump to the next available frequency (as opposed to one of the 6 preset stations i saved in my Favorite) everytime I swipe upward/downward using the left-hand touch-control.

Any help is much appreciated!!

I share your frustration. The only thing I've found to work is using the voice activation.

Good to know someone shares the same frustration.....I thought I was the only one who find it difficult to use...**First world problem**

voice activation is not really an option for me since my 5-years old will keep calling Hey Mercedes non-stop once it’s enabled.....

You can turn off voice activation by keyword and use the toggle on the steering wheel to activate it.
