Passenger Headrest

My car is a 2020 GLE 350 and I can not figure out how to lower the headrest on the passenger side. My car doesn't have a powered headrest for the passenger side and I only see a button on the side of the headrest but that just moves it forwards.

Can someone share how to move the lower the passenger headrest?

look at the bottom of the poles where they meet the seat. on one of the poles, there is a latch at the base where you can push in (and keep pushed in) while you push down the headrest.

I did but there is no latch at all. There is on the rear seats but not on the passenger side.

Do you have a picture of the two poles where it enters the seat?

If you don’t have the latch then you have the version with electric up and down. The upper button on the passenger side for seats....push down and then set the memory for the passenger side. I found ours kept resetting up until I memorized it in the down setting.

You don’t have the power headrests but that looks like a release button on the side of the headrest itself. Mine with power doesn’t have that....
Edit: I never noticed but that button lets the headrest move back and forth. Sorry I am no help.

I posted a picture of the passenger controls and I cannot move the seat lever down. I do not have memory seats for the passenger

on the seat control, just to exhaust possibilities, have you tried adjusting the "seat back" shape/button downward? or it only goes forward/backward?

my passenger seat looks diff, i have the latch for the headrest just like the rear seats, so i am wondering what's different. mine is the AMG sports seats and it doesn't have ventilated seat option, not sure if that makes any difference

Guess you need to inquire with the dealer. Send an inquiry to the service department.

I contacted the dealer they will replace either the seat or door controls when I go in.

Thank you for all your help.
