Burmester High-End 3D system no longer available in the '21 580?

Based on another thread and my own dealer, it's looking like, at least for now, the E-ACTIVE won't be available in the 2021 model. My dealer is also saying the high-end 1,590 watt music system is also not available in the 2021 model year. Can anyone confirm this? Getting rid of the high-end system doesn't make much sense to me, especially given that most of the competition has a high-end option available.

I just checked the 2021 GLE DOG that I got from my dealer last week and it would appear that neither of those options are available on ANY GLE models for 2021. Amazing!

Thank you. I have a 2020 on order since January 3rd and was thinking of changing the order to a 2021 to get the 2021 "extras."

Given that both the high-end Burmester and E-ACTIVE seem to be unavailable for 2021 at the moment, I may end up keeping my 2020 model year order, though in the back of my mind, I can't help but wonder if one of the reasons they aren't including E-ACTIVE in 2021 is due to high field repair costs. I really need a reliable vehicle.

I have only seen one instance on this forum, I believe, of an issue with E-ABC - a bad strut.

Both options have very low take rates. Given that Mercedes has supplier issues and that fewer cars will be built for 2021 it makes sense to pare away options that few people are interested in.

I'm surprised Burmester high end is not available on GLE63S. I agree it is unicorn on most builds, but on the 63 models it is quite a bit more common.

E 63 or S 63 i would agree with you. Otherwise it's not common on any Mercedes.
