So a question that has been bothering me for some time.....
is the current model of GLE officially called V167 or W167?
On Wiki, it says W167 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_M-Class).. but the forum banner says otherwise...

but a Google search shows that several other automative sites also refer it as W167....

Recent SUV models now use V or X
Recent Coupe models now use C
Roadsters use R
Sedans continue to use W
Because historically they were all W, many automotive writers who aren't deep on Mercedes trends continue to use W out of ignorance.
