What have you guys paid for freight and PDI fees for the new GLE in Canada? Our E Class was around $2000 for those fees and they want close to $5000 for just the freight and PDI on GLE’s. Another dealership in Calgary said $3999 for freight and PDI which seems a bit excessive.
That is a rip off. The actual freight is about 1100.00 from the factory. The extra you are being charged is for PDI and possibly documentation fees. Refuse to pay any of those fictitious fees. Pay 1100.00 for freight, that is a real charge. Prep should be a dealer expense and the documentation fee. Go to a different dealer, out of province if you have to.
