Published MB Dimensions

I have found that MB tends not to provide very complete dimensions/specifications - at least on the main website. I posted a thread the other day asking about entry level height and I have yet to find an exact measurement that could be used to compare different MB models. They do provide the usual length, width, etc. dimensions, but not even things like ground clearance on a GLE or e-class wagon with airmatic suspension when the suspension is in the raised mode.

Perhaps I am looking in the wrong places. I could continue to poke around and find a value here or there (reviews are sometimes helpful), but I wanted to know if there was any site that had extensive information.

Any help would be appreciated.

The GLE dealer ordering guide (DOG) includes a bunch of measurements that I included in the below picture. If that is enough m

aybe you could specify the measurements you would like and a member could provide you the measurements for their respective car. You want to be pretty specific since the GLE suspension height adjusts and the seat height adjusts. For example, you may want to know:

*the driver’s seat height from ground to the but portion when the suspension is at its lowest and the seat is at its lowest

*the driver’s seat height from ground to the but portion when the suspension is at its lowest and the seat is at its highest

*the driver’s seat height from ground to the but portion when the suspension is at its highest and the seat is at its lowest

*the driver’s door foot plate height from ground when the suspension is at its lowest

*the driver’s door foot plate height from ground when the suspension is at its highest

*etc...

Hi and thanks. You have it exactly right. What is the height when the vehicle is in its lowest position from the top of the driver's seat cushion to the ground? How much does the lower on exit function impact this (in other words, how much does this function lower the car?) Is there a difference in the GLE 63s models in these heights?

In fact, all the questions you ask are good. Wish I had the answers :-). I just don't think this should be that hard. Also in another thread I noted that when you call MB, they don't want anything to do with you and push you toward your dealer. I have never found a dealer that had this type of information.
