Illuminated Star and Running Boards
Hello,

I have a new GLE350 2020. My sticker says that I have an illuminated star and illuminated running boards. However, neither of these are lighting for me. Is there some setting I need to adjust in the car, or do I need to bring it back to the dealer to fix?

I can't speak to the illuminated star, but my illuminated running boards light up when the door unlocks - no other action needed. If you don't see that, it is worth a trip to the dealer.

Thanks for your reply. I got the floorboards figured out - it was under surround lights in the computer. I still can’t figure out the star. My sticker shows $500 for the illuminated star.

I would guess the star is linked to the headlights.

The star may light up when in drive position. I think my headlights turn o ff in park.
