Top speed issue

I have amg driver package on my car but my car maxes out on 187km/h, it's should do 250 km/h any advice on what to do

There is a winter setting that limits the speed, may be activated.

I thought that the max speed was also set to the speed rating of the tire.

Not in UK Ron, manufacturers fit tyres that are above the maximum speed of the car. The different speed limits on tyres are denoted by letters and the ones fitted to my 450 are Y rated which is 186mph+.

That may be what the “Winter” setting is taking into account. Many Winter tires do not exceed a “T” rating (118 mph/190 kph).

The winter setting also lowers the throttle response.

I don’t believe the Canadian cars have the winter tire speed limit capability, at least I haven’t been able to find it on mine? I’m assuming that’s where you live by your profile info? Why are you driving so fast lol?
