Missing trunk item?
Just got home with my new 2020 GLE 350. Looking through the trunk I noticed an empty space in the styrofoam. Looked online and found a picture of an open trunk and see there is a “red item” in the space. I’ve got no idea what it is. Can anyone enlighten me?

My trunk. Empty slot.


“Red item”. No clue what it is.

I think it’s the road side pop up hazard triangle sign. I think North America don’t get one.

It’s a collapsible triangle which is mandatory in Europe, but not in N-A. So in the interest of saving dollars and mass, it got nixed.
