Light Clicking / Popping sound during v slow speed and reversing

Hi there, just wanted to ask if anyone else had heard this issue. After driving for a short while , when basically moving the car slowly in the carpark, or reversing into a lot , there is a light clicking / popping sound. Its more obvious when the steering is turning.

it’s not very audible when the car is started up after resting for sometime.

I have the same issue - like two metal parts coupling. It mostly occurs from a cold start and within the first 1/10th mile - only 1 - 3 times and sounds like it emanates from driver's rear. It's currently being looked at by the dealer and will update.

It seems to be the electronic brake but the dealer said it is fine. Thought there might be a difference if I manually unlocked the brake instead of letting the car do it by putting into motion, but doesn't change. It only occurs within the first 100 yards or so (about 3 clicks) and disappears.

I got my car back the other day, after they first checked the brakes, they took apart the steering assembly . They couldnt find the source. They decided to test a brand new car in the inventory, and it was also making the same sound. So I guess whatever it is seems to be from manufacture.

Your feedback that it’s the electronic brake is prob correct.
