GLE300d, 23’s, Lowered and ceramic coated !!
Over the last couple of weeks I have had a few modifications done to my GLE,
1st Job was fitting 23’s in black to complete the murdered out look,
2nd was to space the rears out slightly to give it that more aggressive look
Then I was unhappy with the arch gap, as I am running regular steel springs and not air ride I found it near on impossible to get the look I wanted.
I called a few suspension manufacturers and they said that they had them in development but has stopped due to the lack of demand.
so I left it with my friends at R-Tec auto design who managed to source the parts and have dropped the car by around 20/25mm all round.
After that I sent it to a local detailing company who done a full paint correction and ceramic coating !!
The final result in my opinion is unbelievable, am so happy. I know it may not be everyone’s taste but I LOVE it 😂

Veeeeeerrrryyyyy Nice !
finally some nice pictures with black rims
I’m waiting for delivery and searching for rims to replace the standard 21” ones
can you specify which brand and size ? I prefer to have 4 identical wheels (width)
can you also take some extra pictures: the side and the rear, the front (all straight on)

Looks awesome! Great to see something different. Awaiting a Obsidian Black that I want to black out, a little at least. Did you have it wrapped, or did you buy em online (set?)

Next stage of modifying is now complete :
Ordered an OEM 53 AMG grill from a local dealer as I didn’t want to chance an aftermarket part cos of fitment issues etc
Dropped the car off to my friends shop who then wrapped the chrome and fitted it for me !! While he had the car I decided to have all the stone chips done too.
I love the final look of the car now - considering the Brabus roof spoiler then I think she will be complete

Looks great @M4CES .
You have done a killer Job. I plan on doing something similar to mine
I just took delivery of a GLE450 in Obsidian Black, AMG sport Pack, Night Pack, 7 Seat, with Air Suspension and Factory 22" Twin Spoke wheels.
I have been looking at Vossen HF-7 23" wheels but cost of wheels imported and tyres is going to be over 10K aussie.
I am thinking of getting my 22" wheels painted all gloss black along with sidesteps.
I will try source an OEM grille and see how I go.
Anyone else bought a Chinese grille of Aliexpress and fitted it?
Would prefer OEM if I can get one.
I found a shot of a 22 inch twin spoke AMG wheel painted (attached) has anyone else painted their wheels gloss black?

The OEM grill was easy to source, just walked in to the dealer with a chassis number from a GLE53 and ordered it over the counter - worked out about £450 in UK and was about 5 days to arrive. The fitment is so much easier than that of a chinese copy from ALIExpress. If you search YouTube there is a video on there showing the difference.
The side steps is one of my fav modifications cos its the rarest of them all. No one seems to do it but it makes the car look so much better in my opinion along with the plastic trim in between the rear bumper and the exhaust diffuser. i had that colour coded too
Love the light interior colour of yours tho - very nice spec
This is the latest shot of mine - i know the murdered out look isn't for everyone but personally i like it a lot especially on big SUV's

Hey @M4CES ,
Thanks for your reply.
I just spoke to my dealer and he said there were no grilles available worldwide at the moment and to check next month.
There is a company near me that has aftermarket ones in stock so I might have to take the plunge and see how it goes

Your car looks great, definitely my taste as well.
Will post back once it is installed.
