Any difference between MO tires and non-MO tiers?

Hi guys, winter is on the way approaching Canada. I am trying to get a set of winter tires for the 450. I wonder is there any difference between MO Michelin tire and the one I can order from Costco?

The proper MO tires aren't much more when ordered from Tirerack. They can be different with respect to tread pattern, rubber mixture, load index, side wall stiffness and even dimensions, so I don't see the point in not going with the recommended tires.

so which means even they are from the same manufacturer, the MO Michelin is better than the normal Michelin?

Hard to say if they are better or worse, just that Michelin and M-B worked together on the engineering of the tire.
If your intended use parallels the MO tire's design, it's probably good to go with the MO version.
Most MO tires are All Season, which in my book kind of means "no season," i.e. OK all around but with trade-offs all around, too. But if you want better winter performance, or are concerned about lots of rain, or go to the track, then get the one that matches your needs.
