Internet connection on the GLE via phone - Is via bluetooth possible?
I understand there are 2 ways of getting internet access for the GLE - Connection via bluetooth or WIFI
When my iphone is connected via bluetooth, my phonebook is displayed but under internet status, it says its offline and I am unable to load any mercedes me apps
When I connect via wifi i.e. hotspot from my phone, the internet status says online and I am able to load the apps.
Why am I not able to get internet access via bluetooth? Is this a common issue?

I am assuming you are referring to the apps built-in to the car and not the mercedes me app on your phone...
The car does not include internet access by default. It requires either a monthly data plan available through mercedes or as you've discovered, you can use a hotspot to provide internet connectivity. Bluetooth is not supported for internet access.
