Got my GLE 2021 450 custom-built for almost 13% discount (12% plus 500$ for fleet discount) here in Northern CA. Waited almost 7 months. Almost all the options except air suspension. Do we need a car seat protector? The toddler car seat left impressions in my last car and wanted some recommendations ..

That makes me feel better about my custom order GLE 350 that is arriving soon. If dealerships are giving 12-13% for a 450, I would think the 350s should have a higher discount.

When I ordered 450 in June they gave me 1000 off msrp and I’m a repeat customer.
Car came in last month and they sold it to someone else(long story- there fault)
GM offered low teens discount and some other throw ins when car comes in April if I re-order which I did. And dealing with this order with him direct.
But to get that discount OP stated off the bat😆😆👎

By the way, I’d get the seat covers. It smells like you might need them.

GLE sales in the US are down 30.1% thru October 31 as compared to last year. That may have something to do with the sizeable discount you were able to get.

Bob, that has to be distorted by COVID because there is little inventory with long waits on custom orders. The 350’s seem to be showing up...anything else is slow.

There should be a front plate mount under the cargo area where the spare is located. You might do a search to find a better mount option posted by Greg.

I believe someone on this forum got a custom front license plate mount because I heard the one that comes with the car partially obstructs the front view with the 360 degree camera.

I just saw a 2021 GLE350 AWD SUV with DAP and the front license plate didn't obstruct the camera.

No obstruction but they are ugly on taller US plates. The longer Euro ones look better.

Yeah, but you’ve got all that damn humidity. Move to Arizona where we have dry heat, no front license plates, but unfortunately thousands of U-Haul trucks driving east across the Colorado River!😎

I tried living in a land-locked area when I used to live in Orlando and it was brutal. I'd much rater have the Gulf coast, even though we have all the tourists 🙃

Also i'm not sure how id fare if I saw a scorpion. . .

Best of both worlds.. No scorpions, no humidity and even though 2 plate state, never had an issue (touchwood)
