I have a 2020 GLE450 with the Driver Assistance Package and have been having issues with it. Everything was fine for the first 8 months, Since november, the following error messages have been appearing regularly and just this past week or two, the main screen has rebooted itself several times while driving. Called for a service appointment and (since I will need a loaner) have a 6 week wait. I should note, that the area in front of the camera(s) by the rear view mirror is clear. The traffic camera and the camera that activates at red lights works fine??
I get the message in the main instrument cluster fairly often - bright sun, dirty windshield or sometimes just randomly. It usually clears itself after a few minutes. I have never seen that message on the center screen before - interesting that it is not even in the consistent font as the rest of the display.

this is a very common issue across many Mercedes vehicles. The ADAS camera has a resistive wire heater element. Over time, this bakes mist (grime) onto the camera lens which then loses contrast, particularly at night.
the dealer will clean the lens and the screen with a qtip and some IPA
you could do it yourself if feeling adventurous. There are three clips which hold the camera in and it’s the one by the mirror.
Our early production 450 (vin 001517) had a similar set of warnings. It was addressed by an equally early Service Bulletin that essentially said that a batch of cameras had residues from the manufacturer, as received by Vance. The solution was to R&R the cameras and clean with isopropyl alcohol. It worked for that issue.
