Internet Tethering via Bluetooth / WiFi
I just learned that through coding mbux can tether with a mobile phone so as to have an Internet connection. Can anyone hint at how this may be done remotely as it is not possible through an official repair centre locally.

If you are asking if MBUX can use your mobile to tether its data then yes it can. This can be done via wifi or bluetooth. My GLE does not have a built in SIM card for data subscription so data can only be tethered via mobile.
Unless you have mecedes me connect (with the SOS button on the roof), then it is possible MB removed the tether function so that you subscribe to its pay only services for data.
