Service B

Hello. Soon I will need to go for service b on my car. I called couple of dealers and I got very wide range of prices. 500-1100. Is this service dependent on what is needed or they perform fix set of things?

I found by looking around that they mainly change oil, flush brake fluid and change cabin filter. Rest all are inspections.

Any idea what is the average cost of this service. I wanted to make sure that everything that is needed is covered.

These service prices depend on your dealer and where you live. Mercedes-Benz doesn't dictate prices nor mechanical hourly rates. Doesn't the lowest price appeal to you more? Why pay $1,100 for a $500 service?

FYI, Check each dealers website for coupons.

In addition to rate variance, some dealers include extra optional services that are not strictly required. Would be good to get what the prices include specifically.

That's the only way to compare. Wiper blades? Brake flush? Tire balance / alignment? Additives?
You can probably choose from the menu of an $1100 service and drop the price for things you don't want.
Then there's sometimes a B1 and B2 service, which always confuses me.
Ask!
