Bumper Guards

So I've looked through and searched through most of the posts here and didn't find much. Anyone with a GLE 450 AMG exterior using a rear and or front bumper guard for when you park in garage or in street. I'm in NYC and it just seems like everyone has them lately. I'd like one I can flip out when it's time to park (no ugly semi permanent one strapped on). Anyone here use one or have a suggestion on brand that fits our GLE's? Thanks

I am in NYC also and using one carried over from my E43 that just went back. The brand totally escapes me at this time but I’ll get a photo and details tomorrow to post for you. I am using it on my ‘21 GLE53 and while it’s not perfect it’ll do for the limited number of times I have to “save a spot” on the street for my son (we have a parking spot) when he’s working late. The Velcro doesn’t attach to the rear floor piece that lifts up so you have to attach it to the carpeting underneath. Again, not perfect but works just fine to fold it in when not used and then just flip it out when you need. Purchased about 4 years ago but I believe I got it from Advanced Auto out on the island (Freeport). I’ll post pics tomorrow.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I’ll likely use it when it’s in the garage as I wonder if bad drivers are more apt to bang into cars that have them in the street thinking they’re protected 😉

The carpet on top of the lid doesn’t work with the guard Velcro so you have to attach to the carpeting underneath in the spare well. This actually works pretty good for a cleaner install

Normally stored flat excuse the messy cargo area been busy with shoots this week no time for cleaning

Not perfect for the GLE but guess it’s better than nothing for light bumps.

Brings back fond memories of living in NYC. I just threw away two of those last month when I moved from one house to another in NC. Having them was an absolute must in the city - even for garage parking. I felt like garage attendants were rougher on the car than street parking.
