3D MAXpider Kagu Floor All-weather Floor Mats GLE

I've had these 3D MAXpider all-weather floor mats in my previous 2018 E43 and loved them, much better than the WeatherTech in my GLS, GLs and E350. The mats seem to fit better and doesn't "curl-up" or lose shape like my older WTs did (not sure if newer WTs fixed this issue). Sure, they're not as luxurious looking as OEM carpeted mats with the AMG logo but for my need AW mats are a must. Living in the NE and work as a sports photog, I go to countless fields bringing back tons of sand, dirt, grass, mud, turf dots and my all time favorite, geese and duck poop!

These just became available to ship for the 20-21 GLEs and just received them. Here are some pics out of the box and installed. I picked them up from CariD but they're available from a few other vendors. Here's a link to the OEM site with more details:

I've had A/W type mats on my MBs for 10 years, not worried about warranty issue and never had any problems with water in the driver's side. These fit perfectly in my 21 GLE53 SUV and love them, highly recommended for anyone needing A/W mats.

Interesting, and thanks for posting. I went with the OEM all-weather mats and I like them a lot - deep grooves to hold water, grippy rubber, attractive design, and hug the dead pedal area well.

These look great too - do you find them slippery at all when wet?

I have the WT and these do look much nicer. I find the WT hard to clean also, not sure if these will be better that way.

How do these compare price wise. They do look good. Seems like you can only order the set with the third row piece? MB mats are on backorder so this might be an option. Wanted to get them for my new GLE 450

For the 1st & 2nd Row set, WTs are $190 and the 3DMAXpiders are $173 so a little cheaper but basically a wash. You can order these 1st & 2nd row only. They also the 3rd row option which increases the price to about $240. I got them from CariD but as mentioned, there are other vendors. https://www.carid.com/2021-mercedes-...493023599.html
They also have a "elegant" version vs. this all-weather which is nice for those that would prefer a more OEM carpeted look without the need for a harder rubber/plastic all-weather type.

I personally feel they "fit" better than the WTs and the material used doesn't loose it's form-fitting look and fit but that's comparing older versions from my previous CLS550 years ago. I haven't had WTs since then.

Not too slippery when wet with snow, rain or mud but after a car wash with soapy water on the bottom of you shoes transferred to the mats, you can certainly do a little dance with your feet while stopped at traffic lights.

These blow the WT's out of the water. The footrest height alone is worth the cost. Not to mention, they look and feel more like an OEM mat than the WT's. Can't say enough good things about the 3D Maxpider mats.
