Massage seats - are they available in 2021?
Anyone have an update on massage seat availability? As of a couple months ago, a supply shortage meant that many people weren’t able to option the feature. Are they available for custom builds in 2nd half of 2021?

I just took delivery of my 53AMG and I love the message seats. I just say "Hey Mercedes" and ask and she turns them on. It was a custom order.

Massaging Seats have had QC issues so availability could be sporadic. I would think that your Dealer would be the best source for accurate information.

Dealer is speculating that a parts of massage seats shortage could add 4-6 months to the order, but doesn’t have anything more than that.

Maybe your Dealer is really saying that they can’t currently order your car with Massage seats and that it could be as long as 6 months until they become available again? That would make more sense.

I could be wrong but I thought that Mercedes would remove them temporarily from the Dealer Order Guide. That’s normally the way it works...some term it as an item on “Constraint”. If you order & the order gets a build date...then Mercedes plans to have seats available. That’s no guarantee that the build date won’t slip.

My dealer said in an email today, “Order was placed with Massaging Seats”.
Build date is August.
