Does anyone have the 2020 GLS 450 with E-Active Body that makes a very noticeable noise when turning or going over bumps? Purchased this last August (new), was transferred from another dealer so didn’t get to test drive. Noticed the noise soon after, took back to dealer, they kept it for a month only to come back and say that noise is normal. In talks with MBUSA to see what options we have. This noise drives me crazy.

 

Do NOT hear any noises when making turns or taking bumps. We hear some when lowering the car for exit or putting it in Off Road mode. If available, drive another dealer car with E-ABC to see how it compares. Good luck.

 

No, two years and 17k miles - silent. Noises are not normal.

 

Good luck finding another - pretty rare. Could put out feelers through MBCA to find another owner’s car, perhaps.
