Worst tease ever
I have a 53 on order with an ETA of today.
I received a call last Wednesday that it had arrived early. I get there Thursday and they show me the car and it wasn't mine. They were close enough in specs that I brush it off as a simple mistake and figure I'll just have to wait until today.
Today arrives and it didn't didnt 😂.

If it had been a different color or something completely obvious I would have been pissed but I can't blame the guy nor am I upset. We were doing paperwork when it arrived so it all just kinda fell in place.
I'm just glad the same thing didn't happen in reverse but the other guy liked my spec better and left with it.
I was told it was unloaded from the rail car onto a truck today and it should be delivered in the next couple days.
Where is the port for the PNW?
I imagine I could have had it shipped from Alabama to here via truck and have it in a week so maybe I will come sooner than Monday.

They gave me a updated ETA on the 28th, the 28th comes and they tell me the 30th. Now today comes and "due to the extreme heat" 🙄 it's not not gonna be here until the 2nd.
Something tells me Friday comes and it's going to be another excuse 😂
this is turning out to be the most miserable buying experience I ever had :/

There's a transportation problem - lack of drivers. With all the COVID quarantines and Don't Work benefits, drivers (and airline pilots) quit en masse, and continue to do so. Why work?
Then there's the fires closing highways. Oh, and as they said, the heat.
Just be thankful that it's on the way. Unless you're looking for a reason to cancel, then just do it.

But you're right, having to wait on my custom order Mercedes to be delivered doesn't ring many sympathy bells. The only reason I'll cancel at this point is if next weekend this isn't here, then I'm just gonna have to find a 63s 🤣. Worlds smallest violin and all that.

The only part I'm a little bummed about is the door tweeters don't spin and pop out like they did in the previous model.
