2020 GLE 450 Stalking, Poor Acceleration, Dashboard black out
The car is back to the dealership shop again today. This is its third visit since I got the car, and have driven just a little over 5K miles. The first problem occurred some time in February this year. The car suddenly shut off when I wanted to pick up from a traffic light stop. I had to press the power switch several times to get it back. Cars behind me kept horning, maybe thinking I fell asleep or was doing something. During the following days, the car stalled a few times mainly at about 20-30 miles/hour speed. The acceleration was very poor. Had to press the gas pedal hard to accelerate the car. Contacted the dealership and left a car there for about 2 or 3 days each time. Was told that they had to run a program check to see if they could find any error codes in the computer system. Was also told that they had to consult with engineers in Germany. Finally, I was told that they did not find anything wrong.
Yesterday, the dashboard totally blacked out in the middle of a road, with nothing shown which driving. Luckily, we were not on a freeway. Back to the dealership shop again. Got a loaner car GLB 250, which accelerates a lot faster than the GLE 450. Unbelievable

I drove a ML 350, two GLE 350s before this one, and never had any issues. Have trusted MB for years until now. Will be be last MB to have! SOOOOO disappointed!!

Wow.. very sorry to see you are having such problems with your GLE. I hope the mb dealer fixes all your issues, so you can enjoy your SUV.
I too had the GLB for a loaner and it is rather punchy and fun for a 4 cycl turbo... pretty quick for a 220ish HP... but did not feel it would out accerlate the GLE 450 ..
