Doors locked audible confirmation

Doors locked audible confirmation

When I lock my doors by touching one of the door handles, the vehicle locks and the mirrors fold in. I would also like the hear an audible beep to confirm that the vehicle is locked. Would one of our numerous MBWorld experts please let me know how to set that up. Thanks

It's in Settings > Vehicle > Activate or deactivate acoustic lock in the car itself.

Except it only beeps if all the other doors are also closed…at least on my last 2. If your wife closes the door after you lock there’s no beep. Our Audi chirps no matter the locking sequence.

Yes and in addition, no lights blinking. That's how all MBs work and why I alway lock after insuring all doors are closed first (basically touch handle of the last door being closed, wife's door in the example above). The doors are locked and alarm is still activated, just no exterior visual and audio verification.
