So I went out to lock my car....left the keys in the house. Presses the lock button by the inside drivers door handle .... Locks the other 3 doors but not the drivers door???

Seems odd. So is it the only way you can lock your car is by using the fob?

I believe it is a safety feature to prevent kids from locking themselves inside the car.
