Considering a GLE
And while the base seats are fixed, ie no recline or sliding, the power second row doesn’t actually recline much farther. It’s only able to recline less then the regular position, which is only really useful if you have people in the third row or lots of bags in the back and need the extra few centimeters. I’ve heard the sliding forward is great for golf clubs though.

I expected my 5,200# All-Season-tired car to be the slowest, since it was the heaviest and tallest, with it's best claim to racing fame is that it looks like the F1 Safety Car. I wasn't the slowest on my first ever visit to that particular track!
After I took some big swings at tire pressures, it became predictable, good turn-in. Absolutely GREAT brakes, and I put in some pretty good sector times. Not the slowest.
The AMG Ride Control (Dynamic Package) really works at the track.
This was one reason to buy this car. I compared the Cayenne, SQ7, X5, all with their optional suspensions on extended test drives, and it seemed that M-B had the best possibility for track usage, as well as long distance cruising and RV pulling.
I think I chose a winner!
(I have to thank Gordon, @slk55er for sending me a video of his laps at that track, to help me get familiarized with the new-to-me track.)
I used the MBUX AMG Track Pace to record my laps. I set up sector times, and it records a lot of telemetry - steering angle, brake and throttle force, slip angle, lots more. Pretty neat, but of course not useful except after lapping, to look back at where you did good and bad. There's an App that goes with it, but I can't find it for the U.S. yet.
